Senior mechanical engineer

Responsibilities:
  • I lead the engineering on more than 70 projects: among other I designed the world-first fully electric travel-lift the company-first modular trailer with 300 tons of payload and the company first SPMT trailer, with hybrid propulsion. I also expanded the company range for trailers up to 400tons.
  • I’m responsible for structural verification of company machinery. Performed more than 50 FEM simulations with Ansys (linear and non-linear), producing calculation reports for internal use and final clients.
  • I was the leader for the PDM implementation in the engineering department with more than 10 user involved. I’m currently the PDM administrator and CAD manager.
  • I self learned VBA and C# to develop mover 30 SolidWorks macro to automate repetitive tasks saving hundreds of hours for the entire department.
  • I was leader the for the implementation of new ERP system to serve more than 50 people.

Responsibilities:
  • Leader of two multidisciplinary teams of 6 people. I organized and lead weekly meetings to control the change process and its deadlines. I weekly reported to the Project Manager about the performance of the change process.
  • Key-user of the change management tool CAMBIA, a software with more than 500 users, with activities of training the end users, definition of new functionalities, test of new releases.
